Overview
Most youth development work in Lambert's Bay reaches kids after inequality has already had years to teach them to doubt themselves. Rockpool Club exists to get there first. It's built on a simple piece of developmental theory: the earlier a child builds a stable, trusted relationship with a safe adult and a consistent environment, the more that foundation shapes everything that follows, confidence, regulation, and the belief that they belong somewhere. In a fishing town where the ocean is already part of daily life, we use it as that first foundation, before formal water-safety or skill training ever starts.
