01
Ocean-Therapy
As a result of the continued exposure to violence, a lot of the youth experience acute emotional instability and become desensitised to violence. Ocean therapy is a valuable intervention that can improve mental health, reduce stress, and enhance resilience.
02
Literacy
Recognizing that poverty and limited access to resources contribute to school dropout rates, we focus on academic support, literacy development, and alternative education pathways to improve retention and learning outcomes.
03
Skills Development
West Coast youth face limited opportunities due to generational poverty. Skills-based interventions provide alternative pathways. By equipping youth with employable technical skills, our PRO program aids access to sustainable livelihoods.
Nature heals: 9 out of 10 beneficiaries say the ocean helps them feel happy
Reading is power: we provide over 144 hours of literacy support per child annually
>70% of our PRO program beneficiaries gain skills they can use to find work or further study

Watersports in our DNA
However, in order to disrupt cycles of inequality, we need to address the root cause. If we want our youth to become independent, productive citizens, leaders in the community, and champions for change, a holistic development approach is mandatory.
Stats & Facts
Aiming to strengthen what already works and improve outcomes, we have developed a rigorous impact measurement strategy that considers not only the kids and their communities but also the impact of volunteers and PSW staff
